Our schools are not set up nor capable of truly teaching each child individually so instead, all children are forced to learn in the exact same manner and in the exact same timeframe that the school district proposes. I have witnessed first hand how school can make or break a child and how I have been able to help many of those children. I made it my goal to teach to the individual child rather than the whole group; and it completely drained me. I chose to leave the public school arena, homeschool one of my kids and raise my youngest who just turned five. Now, it is time for me to re-embark upon my mission to try and help students but I prefer to do this in the form of tutoring/one on one.
